I am so excited for all of the new changes that were announced during the October 2018 General Conference!
The First Presidency has announced a series of resources to help Church members and their families study the scriptures at home: Come, Follow Me—For Individuals and Families. The first of these resources will focus on the New Testament, which is the course of study for Sunday School and Primary classes in 2019.
“Living by and reading the word of God,” the First Presidency says, “will build faith in Heavenly Father and His plan of salvation and in the Savior Jesus Christ and His Atonement” (First Presidency letter, June 29, 2018).
I have watched as the youth have embraced the Come, Follow Me format and seen first hand how it has helped them take a more active role in their study of the Gospel. I am thrilled that the Primary children will have this same opportunity!
